  • Zero Waste Workshop: Simplifying Skincare with Joanna Runciman
    18:00 -20:00
    2018-11-15

As part of the Zero Waste Living Workshop Series, this intimate workshop will allow you to take control over what you are putting on and in your body by creating zero waste beauty products you love.

You’ll leave this workshop with products you’ve created from scratch, the knowledge to make more, and an understanding of what ingredients to avoid in shelf-stocked toiletries moving forward.

All ingredients will be provided to make your own peppermint tooth-powder, gentle exfoliating face scrub and a multi-purpose herb-infused body balm that is great for dry nails, hands, lips and hair ends. If available to you and to make this workshop a truly zero waste experience, please bring three upcycled, glass jars to take your products away in.

To register for this FREE event, please e-mail the Whistler Public Library on or after November 1 at publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca.

This series is presented by AWARE, Whistler’s environmental charity.

The Zero Waste Living Workshop Series was made possible thanks to funding from the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW)‘s Community Enrichment Program.
