Here is a bliss ball recipe that is delicious and nutritious.

You will need:

Raw organic honey

Raw organic tahini

Raw or toasted organic almond butter

Raw or toasted organic hazelnut butter

Stir together in a large glass bowl 1/4 cup honey, 3/4 cup tahini, 1/2 cup almond butter, 1/2 cup hazelnut butter.  This forms your base.

Now add to your blend: sunflower, hemp and pumpkin seeds, cranberries, organic dairy free chocolate chips and shredded coconut.

Mix everything together and make sure the mixture is thick enough to roll into balls.  These healthy treats are a simple go-to.  If you buy high quality ingredients, they will cost around $1 each to make.

Place a large plate beside your glass bowl and cover it in shredded coconut.

Roll each ball to desired size.  Either do mini ones or average sized is easier.  Roll the ball in the palm of your hand (make sure your hands are properly washed.)  Then roll them through the shredded coconut and place them in a freezer appropriate covered tray with a lid.  Feel free to switch up the ingredients to your liking.  You can substitute cranberries for goji berries, or add cacao or maca powder to taste.  Another potential flavour is dehydrated blueberries.

Don’t eat more than two at one time.

These bliss balls second name, ‘Energy Balls’ were given the name for good reason.  They are quite dense and filling.  Don’t over eat them, they could give you a belly ache.

Traditionally rolled into small/medium sized balls, feel free to experiment with size and shape.  Little log shapes are doable.

One great thing about Bliss Balls is they require no cooking.

Freeze the desserts and once they are cold enough, they are ready to eat.  These are a lovely treat.  Very healthy, easy to share, work great as a snack or even dessert.
