Dear Twin Trees Community,

Thank you so much for sharing with us as we took our first steps on this exciting new adventure. Since we opened our doors in early March, we have helped more than a hundred pets in need of after-hours emergency services, we have met countless friendly faces, and we have saved some very special little lives. Our team is thrilled and honoured to be serving this critical need for after-hours emergency services in the Sea to Sky corridor.

Thank you so much for your support, and we look forward to the next phase of the journey.
Yours truly,

INSPIRING STORIESCassidy smiles

Today we celebrate Cassidy, a 15 year old Husky Cross, for her bravery and inspiring recovery. Sweet Cassidy was rushed to Twin Trees in the middle of the night; her owner (who is a paramedic) recognized that Cassidy was in distress. The Twin Trees team quickly diagnosed Cassidy with a life-threatening condition called GDV (Gastric Dilatation and Volvulus). She underwent emergency surgery and was able to go home the next morning. Even though Cassidy is an old, old lady, she is healthy, strong, and a true fighter. Without invervention, she would have died. For more information on GDV, including how to recognize the symptoms, please read GDV: A True Emergency Not Just Bloating by Dr. Lopez. #HappyHealthy
